One of the best fish n chip shops in Melbourne! Especially given the location at Port Melbourne pier where the Spirit of Tasmania ship docks and by the water, its just a perfect place to have a casual meal at the inside tables or outside.

If its super busy when you go there (definitely the case today being New Years Day and sun was shining!) you can go along for a walk along the board walk and find a seat.

The quality of the fish (I always order flake) is absolutely fresh, white fillet, cooked in good oil (no aftertaste as you get sometimes from fried fish) in a good amount of batter.

The chips are crunchy and golden.

I must say the potatoe cakes, whilst very delicious and fried golden, are very thin! I suppose I like to bite into more potatoe, but its okay I can handle that!

They offer good value meal packs ranging in price and quantity.

One pitfall of going there is cash only payment, but there is an ATM on premises to withdraw cash and pay $2.50 which is something I do not like doing but gotta do it at times sometimes when I only have a few coins in my purse.

Service is efficient, place your order and then wait around for your number to called. As I said before it gets busy on warm days, but the wait time was not too bad for us today (about 10 minutes).

We did not receive lemon wedges in our meal pack, so I am not sure if you are meant to ask for some, or the staff forgot to include one! nevermind!

One of the best Fish burgers I've had. Bread was really fresh and not chewy. Everything else looked great too. As a bonus has water views.
