Waited really long to get my dessert but was worth it!! Staff aren't that friendly but food was good so that's aight
Approximate cost: $9
Food was good, but the service was average. The tables are quite dirty and one of the workers gave us our food with a bleeding finger. Gross!!
I love coming here with my friends! Such a great place to hang out with some mates on the weekend and to catch up with my friends. The food here is absolutely scrumptious. I love the savory dishes here such as the fried chicken and ramen. The desserts, oh my god, i love it especially the green tea shaved ice. Great value.

This is an extremely busy place! You might have to wait for a table if you come at night. TBH, I don't like a lot of desserts from here, but my family absolutely adores them!
The desserts make for a great ending to the night if you've eaten at another restaurant in the Glen. (whoops, just read one of the reviews and they say the exact same thing!)
I feel like the prices are a tad bit pricey, but it's to be expected with this type of business. Other than that, this place is pretty decent and I love the atmosphere :)
Approximate cost: $7+
Dessert Story is the perfect way to end off dinner at any of the restaurants at Kingsway. Service is super quick and courteous and they have to be because they have to keep the turnover going or it would get super crowded.
Mouthwatering Taiwan and Hong Kong desserts are so refreshing and delicious. I particularly like their Snow Series but bring a friend along because these servings are huge. If I can't convince someone to share with me I get their Mango Sago pudding with green tea ice cream. Hubby loves the sea coconut sago in coconut milk.
The prices are very reasonable considering that down the road you'd pay the same price for a small piece of over rich cake. Here you'd get a good size bowl of refreshing and not too sweet deliciousness.
I'd like to be able to recommend more of their offerings but the ones I've tried are so yummy that I keep going back for the same things. Their menu has about 100 different options not counting their extensive drinks menu.
Pop in between 12 noon and 3pm Monday to Friday for 15% off anything on the menu.

Very quick service and in an ideal location on Kings Way. Open late which is great for an after movie dessert. Have been here only a few times and the quality of the desserts served are awesome.
This is a great example of the Asian dessert place trend taking Melbourne lately- I have to agree with lingo79 that their taro ball deserts are probably the best (I personally didn't like anything there hot though) but the diversity in their range is more than extensive enough to have something to satisfy all tastes. Yet to try their drinks
Approximate cost: $6-10
This chain offers a variety of TW and HKG desserts and milk tea. Prices are reasonable and they have 15% off for Happy Hour (Mon-Fri) which is good for working people to have a treat. The best i'd recommend is the Taro Ball series with yam and red beans (whether cold or hot), it's yummy!
Approximate cost: $6.80
An extensive choice of desserts that are made quickly. I personally love the black sesame snow ice and mango snow ice. Serves are fairly large so be prepared to share or get really full. They also have a nice selection of drinks.
Approximate cost: $10
