This is good and cheap Japanese restaurant. They do lunch special for Bent o boxes and I love their sashimi and teriyaki chicken. I like their take away box as they put everything separate so you don't end of eating soggy rice. Lunch special is under $10 and generous servings.

The service is quick and staffs are very friendly.

On the menu it semms awesome. With standard Japanese mains under $10, bentos under $15, free miso soup. The chicken was juicy, tasty with delicious sauce.
The food was fresh, very tasty and reasonably priced. There is also an extensive list of sake available, hot or cold. Good service from friendly staff.
I'll be returning soon.

One of my favourite Japanese restaurants- a great selection of foods at great prices. I love how most of the food on the menu comes in relatively small servings but are priced accordingly, so that I get to try heaps of food and the bill is still quite cheap. The food is also of excellent quality, a far cry from many of the surrounding Japanese restaurants in the area!

Most of the times I've been there, the restaurant has been really quiet, which I think may be because many people don't know about the restaurant (and it's in quite a hard-to-find location), but makes for a nice dining environment!!

Have been here several times for some very enjoyable lunches. Set above the street, it has a large dining room with big tables. The food is generous and gorgeously presented in pretty bowls and trays. The katsu is tops, and whatever you get there is a baby side salad. The staff are super friendly. I hear they have $5 happy hours mid-morning and afternoon!

Approximate cost: $12

Japanese home style cooking with oriental environment, order is big and up to standard. Very nice and excellent customer service and price is not expensive at all for Japanese home style cooking in the city.
