Good drop in pub before the cricket & or after the footy.
Nice that it has kept it's "character".
food is nothing special, but good place to start for a beer.

This is a really great pub to go to before the footy. The atmosphere is great and it's a quick walk to the MCG. Drinks are at bar prices and the always have a BBQ going before the footy. The hamburgers are great and cheap. The also have sausages, bacon and egg sandwiches etc. This pub is always packed. So if your looking for a quiet place to drink then this probably isn't the right place for you. But the service is great, and everyone there seems really friendly.
