Oh dear. This place has gone steeply downhill.
On the back of a Groupon, we came. The house wine was mediocre, but it was the food that let them down in a big way. The haloumi chips were a different idea, but they are a heart attack on a plate. The sauce on their gnocci marinara is nice, but the seafood was overcooked and the pasta a bit gluggy. And the pizza.... bit boring.
The gelati: rum raisin was more rum than anything else. And the hazelnut just felt old. Yes, the taste was ok, but the texture was plastic-like.

Browsing along Jetty Road Glenelg and could not resist enjoying a 2 scoop gelati here. Lemon and chocolate in a cup are my favourites. Always enjoy either coffee or gelati (and sometimes both ) from this Italian restaurant/cafe. The menu is good too.

While having another beach day with small grandchildren we visited Crema on Jetty again. Icecream was the order of the day and very generous serves were bought in cups. (this saved a lot of mess etc) Lovely lady served us too.

Yeah I didn't mind this one overly. Went with the missus and a friend and we had their seafood platter, from a voucher.
Did the job and then some.
Their gelati is good too. But I don't think they make it themselves

Have always had good experiences here in the past but my most recent visit was disappointing. It was busy so I expected a delay but we had to wait AGES for coffees and then even longer for breakfast. The coffee was only just hot enough but I didn't want to risk another wait for a replacement. My breakfast, when it eventually arrived, was okay but my husband said his meal was really dry. This time, I'm afraid we were glad to leave.

Using a voucher, we were entitled to a 3 course meal + wine.
Entrée was a Trio of Dips (Beetroot, Sundried Tomato & Tzatziki), with warm toasted pita bread to share.
It was so delicious, there wasn't a crumb left on the plate!
The mains offered a choice of Pizza, Pasta, Salad or Risotto.
We both decided on the Thai Chicken Pizza, which was very tasty.

Desert was a scoop of Gelato - any flavour we chose.
It is hand made on the premises and was an absolute delight.
A very refreshing way to finish the meal.
We just managed to squeeze in a mug of flat white coffee, before we "rolled" home.
Piping hot and beautifully smooth to drink.
The service was friendly and reasonably quick.
Would definitely be happy to go back again - 8/10!

We were at Glenelg with our daughter and small grandchildren and the call came for icecream. Visited this restaurant's gelati bar and had very nice dark chocolate and lemon double serve . At $5.50 for the doubles it was not the cheapest but certainly very nice. Maybe I am out of touch with pricing. Lovely sitting outside in the sun after running around on the beach

Fabulous location for a summer's evening. Extensive menu so plenty of choice for all tastes. Our food was prompt, hot and delicious. Lovely atmosphere for casual dining - we will be back.

I went here with my family after reading the previous review as it sounded great. We were not disappointed, such an extensive menu to choose from. We settled on sharing our meals starting with oysters kilpatrick, tasted fresh and delicious. The salt and pepper squid - an absolute must have and their wood fired pizzas, well we stuck with meat lovers and seafood marinara but they certainly have many to choose from. All our meals tasted fresh and delicious, service was friendly and prompt. Our only problem was that we could not fit in dessert. Definitely recommend.

This wonderful Italian restaurant is situated close to the beach. Inside and outside seating is available, great for a warm summers evening to watch the sun set over the beach. Fabulous romantic atmosphere. Open from 8am, it is great for breakfast. The lunch and dinner menu will definately tantalise your taste buds. I had the pleasure of dining here for dinner with my partner. The Prosciutto Gamberi: prawns,garlic and prosciutto withtomato , basil and herbs was delicious and priced at $25.90 it was well worth the cost. The Pollo Florence: chicken with baby spinach,tomato and mozzarella in rose sause served with potatoes and grilled vegetables was define. Costing $24.50. Kids menus are available for children under 12 yrs old, and include the meal, a drink and a gelato. Great value. The pizzas are made and wood fired, which make them taste so much better than a traditional pizza. We finished our evening with a fabulous Italian coffee, got a take away gelatti and went for a walk on the beach. I will definately be returning to this restaurant. The staff were lovely, making sure that we were comfortable, and ensured that we were happy with our meals.
