Staying at this hotel was not unpleasant, but the rooms looked old and warn out, the amenities were sparse and it didn't feel luxurious at all. The romance package sounded great on paper but the chocolates were just a box of 5 ferrerro rocher's just left on the table and at the restaurant it was a set menu of mediocre seafood for the Gold Coast. It was all pretty disappointing considering the marriott's good name and reputation. The only upside was how close it was to Cavil Ave.

Great location, central and walking distance to many shops and attractions. Plenty to do. An affordable stay. Room we stayed in was a little outdated however the view from the balcony was great.

Really lovely rooms and really reasonable prices in a local area walking distance from so many local attractions and touristy things. It's not even too far out from Surfers. I had a really enjoyable stay and it was a great place to stay for a short getaway.

I have stayed there on two occasions, and i must say it is a very nice looking place, even as you drive to the front entrance, service was impecable, the rooms we stayed in where very beautiful every time

Stayed here twice, if you can get a good deal, it's worth staying here as it's just across from the surfers paradise beach, it's central, once out of the hotel your in a shopping mall with woolworths, there als a games arcade up stairs, if the kids get bored.
Swimming pool is ok, the spa is heated which was nice.
Room is a good size, they have double beds in the twin rooms which was really good for the kids.
location is great, staff were polite, room service guy was exceptionally nice when we ordered more tea bags, he almost gave us the whole box.
