Brilliant. A simply wonderful experience. Perfect for a day trip on the weekend. The melba estate features dame nellie melba's house, a spacious garden, an art gallery, a cellar door and a spacious restaurant. The estate has hosted opera performances and private events such as wedding ceremonies. The estate is very very well kept and the interiors are very clean yet sophisticated in style. The afternoon tea is an absolute delight regardless of whether your preference is for sweet or savoury, the tiered stand offering Pork & Apple Sausage Rolls, Asparagus Dill Cream Cheese Pinwheel, Smoked Salmon Ribbon Sandwiches, Strawberry tarts.

This is my girlfriend's family's favourite winery (so far!). The women who guide the tastings are hilarious, relaxed and make the experience really good each time we go. The wines are all very nice and the family usually spend a lot there! The winery is set in a beautiful location, with a lot of history and you are welcomed to sit on the deck and enjoy the weather (provided it's nice!) Definitely one to visit and close to the very popular Chandon winery.
