Very nice spot , but way over priced , Facility are below what is needed , staff , don't care and a rude , toilets overflowing , not clean , road in will damage your car if you don't have a 4x4
One of the most expensive bush camps on the planet. Nice area but sooooo expensive with not very good amenities. Have stayed in remote caravan parks that are much cheaper and have better amenities. Better to drive to Kangaroo Valley and stay at Bendeela which has abundant wildlife and is easily accessible and free, though no showers.
We have camped here 2 years in a row. It's one of the best camping spots I have ever been to. There are no powered sites and no generators, it's mainly campers which is what I like about it.
There is so much wildlife and you get to pick out your own campsite (there are no allocated spots). Even during their most busy times there enough space between you and the next campers that you can have some privacy.
Amenities are good and always clean. The kiosk is great, you can buy ice, milk, bread and other bits and pieces as well as firewood. Camp fires are allowed and they have plenty of wood which they sell for a small fee.
The road in is a bit of a long trip on a dirt road but it is definitely worth it.
There is a river you can swim in and float down the rapids (bring your own floatation devices) and they hire out canoes.
We saw wallabies, goana's, peacocks, wombats and even a bilby!
Highly recommended, great for the kids, take your bikes if you can as it is a long walk to the river from some campsites (plus it's a great place to ride around).
People are super friendly (other campers).
Approximate cost: $40-$60 per night for a family
