I regularly stop at the Coolabah Cafe in Port Wakefield when travelling through (approximately once a week) and always buy a coffee there. In the last month the coffee has had a chemical taste and has been undrinkable. If the cafe has changed their beans, they need to go back to their previous supplier and if it is new cleaning products, they need to ensure that the equipment is rinsed thoroughly. It will be a while before I try their coffee again.

The staff members here are very friendly, work efficiently and come across as genuine. This cafe serves real aussie food, the burgers and similar are always great, like old fashioned burgers from the fish n chip shop. Coffee isn't amazing but decent, especially considering where it is. Medium coffee around $4.20 and a burger with the lot around $10, but it's a big burger cooked on the grill to order so it's decent value. The only real down side is the store presentation, tables were dirty and not cleared, floors had food scraps and rubbish despite no other customers being present, it was a little off putting.

Approximate cost: $13.00
