Absolutely love this place - they have so many raw and vegan foods and the slices are delicious. There may be a slight wait sometimes, but definitely worth it!
Love Combi in Elwood for coffee and delicious smoothies. They also do yummy raw slices and treats. <3 Slightly expensive so I only go there occasionally
Great service and the best coffee around the Bayside area.
Can be busy on weekends - but it's worth the wait!
Approximate cost: $4.80
Service at this place isn't the best, you don't really know if it's seat yourself or go on a waiting list, table service or order at the counter. Despite this though, Combi is in an awesome location & the food is incredible. Salted caramel slice is a must-try & the best I've had!
Recommend the almond milk lattes here! Super yummy. I love them. It gets busy though and you can't always get a seat
Awesome but a bit overrated and busy now! I recommend the avocado toast. Super yummy and filling! Coffee can be hit or miss haven't found it as good as people say.
Great for a healthy feed. I ordered the bircher muesli with an almond milk coffee. It really filled me up. My friend ordered the avocado toast which was also super yummy.
Nice to go to a place with healthy food!
A bit on the expensive side now but super yum!
They have re-vamped their offering of incredible coffee with a completely zen menu loaded with smoothie bowls, raw cakes, pressed juices, nut milk, sweet sprouted bread and raw pizzas. This place is a food wellness haven and heaven for anyone wanting a healthy but tasty fix.
Love the pressed juices here!
One of the best ever apps on the iPhone is the Melbourne Coffee Review. For a coffee junkie like me, it is a godsend. One day, on the way to work, I really needed my fix. So, with a few taps I find this little nook in Elwood - charming facade with its bright red sign with the perfect promise, "Combi Coffee - Espresso Bar".
I sidle up to the window and order. While I'm no aficionado, I think I can tell bad coffee from good. This was good. Anthony (the owner, whose name I found out through FourSquare) is an inviting sort; I think you could have a good old chat with him about beans and such (or life for that matter). He is a warm owner, greets familiar clients by name and gives this cafe an air of dignity and charm that such coffee bars deserve.
I keep coming back for the lovely coffee and unlike other other serious coffee houses, this one seems to just do it without taking it too seriously.
Approximate cost: $4.50
