Love this place. I moved to Melbourne early this year and tried a few hairdressers before finding Cocohoney. Marissa is an absolute pro; gave great colour advice - my hair has never been better! Definitely recommend.

Okay so living in the area and looking for a new hairdresser I have driven past cocohoney a number of times and was attracted to the beautiful decor so thought I would give it a try . What a tragic mistake, after spending 2.5 hours freezing in the quiet salon the staff exposed my colour which looked more brown the blonde. Staff asked me what I thought and I said it was much darker than I normally go and not what I was after. I had explained during my colour consult that I have a highlight and use my natural colour as a lowlight as I am trying to improve the condition of my hair. Turns out staff tried to match my natural colour and coloured my hair with a highlight and low light to match my natural colour , clearly not listening to what I had asked for. Staff response was sorry must have been a misunderstanding followed by that is $245 for today. I paid up and will return to other salon who although not around the Corner at least charge reasonable fees for their service and listen to what you want. Do yourself a favour and don't be lured in by the nice decor. This place is a rip off and don't give you what you want .

I was looking for a new hairdresser - loved mine, but needing to book at least 3 months in advance was causing me some grief. So I thought I would try Cocohoney - close to home and I heard they do a good head massage. I didn't find the staff al that friendly - unless you were a regular. Noted lots of 'chats' all around me, but no real attempt to get to know me at all. The hair cut and colour was just okay, but knowing I could get the same at a much cheaper price elsewhere left me a little cold. For the price I was paying I should have had something a little more striking and stand out. The rush to get me to make another booking as I was paying was almost offensive. The head massage - yeah was good. But not enough to write home about. I wonder if I was expecting too much after all the rave reviews - perhaps, but for me this turned out to be just an okay experience.

After several botched hair cuts&colours elsewhere, I am really happy I stumbled across you guys. Thanks for restoring my faith in hairdressers, Marissa! I will be back.

Wonderful local salon with a classy, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Renee, Robyn and the rest of the girls are welcoming, lovely and know their "hair stuff". I've been going to Cocohoney since it opened and have always left feeling very happy my hair cut/colour, and my salon experience in general.

Cancelled my appt with them that was made a week ago. I'm horrified! I need my hair done by Sat arvo for a 40th - it's now 2.30pm Thurs! No option of rescheduling: appts are just cancelled straight out!! And the staff wouldn't accept this is a DISASTER for me! They were actually rude: as if it were unreasonable of me to be upset and panicked at the idea of finding a last minute colour!! Unbelievable that in this economic climate a neighborhood salon would discourage cash walking in the door. Never ever trying a neighborhood salon again. Back to high end for me: you get what you pay for!

I love Cocohoney salon. I have always been extremely happy with the great service and fantastic cuts. Renee always listens to what I want and has great attention to detail. I would never go anywhere else.

I love this place what more can I say.. I have been to all the so called "top end" salons and have never been overly happy with the result and then I found Cocohoney, in my own backyard. Renee cut, coloured & styled my unruley hair & I could not be happier!! The salon has a great atmosphere and is very personal with a very high focus on client satisfaction. All the girls are just lovely!! They really make you feel comfortable. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone as I will never go anywhere else again. It has taken 12 years of bad colour and over-rated hair salons to finally find Cocohoney and it was worth the wait!!
