I had just moved in to my new unit before Christmas and the carpet there had deep stain, dirt and musty smell, especially in the launch. So I contacted cleaning mate as per my friend's(who had a very good experience with them) advice. Though they were little bit late, they did an excellent job. They were able to remove the dirt totally, even though the deep stain is still there, and my carpet smelled awesome then. I was really surprised when I made the payment as they charged just $60 for 2 bed rooms and a launch. I would not mind recommending them if you your carpet to be cleaned.

I called in to book a carpet clean for the following morning. Cleaner was due to arrive at 10am, but we got a call to say he was running late by half an hour (that was fine by me and was glad he called). He came nearly an hour later than originally booked saying that he could not find my address. The job took just over an hour and we are very pleased with the result. The cleaner was thorough and polite. I would use this company again and recommend it to others. The cost was $79 for lounge/dining, hallway and one bedroom = 4 rooms, which is a decent price :-)

We called Cleaning Mate for a quote regarding a "moving out" service. We were quoted $25/hr and told that it would take approximately 5-6 hrs. We also requested carpet cleaning and pest control for an additional fee. Firstly - service; on the day we were left waiting for the service to arrive. After around an hour and a half we called and were told that the company had problems with their staffing but would have someone at our house within the half hour. When the gentlemen turned up they had very little cleaning equipment. A short feather duster that was going to be used to clean the very high ceilings and walls of a Queenslander didn't imbue confidence in their service. Nor did their casually dressed shorts, top & thongs attire. In addition when previously calling to confirm the pest control service, I was given differing information. Firstly it was a "yes" they did do pest control, followed by a "no - it's not a service we offer." In the end we were assured that pest control was in their portfolio of "can do." Regardless if they did or didn't I paid $120 for the privilege of what could have been for a can of mortein. No servicing pest control sticker reminders were given. When calling to find out the final price, I was pumped for information as to what job my husband did. Apparently if you rent in Bardon and your husband works as a Public Service that warrants this company charging double the amount quoted. When questioning the 12 hrs charged to clean a 3 bedroom Qlder, which didn't include cleaning the garage, we were then told that because 2 gentlemen turned up to do the job it was double the price. In addition GST was added to the total which we would have assumed would have been included in the quoted price. So beware when using their services that GST will be added on & if there are 2 of them - you get to pay $50/hr. To add insult to injury the place was very poorly cleaned, the bath tub was still covered in grime and the windows required further cleaning. We definitely DON'T recommend using this service and will be looking to find a more reputable firm in the future. Lastly they had the audacity to ask if we would write a testimonial for their website. Obviously there is a reason why there is so little identifying information on their website - they don't want to be found and for good reason!
