I try to eat here every chance I get, I always get their combo box, lamb and pork. Their portion size has gone down but it is still enough to be full. If you do want lamb, come before 1.30pm. Most of the time when I rock up at 1.45, I'm only left with pork and chicken as my option.

Approximate cost: $13

The portion sizes have reduced since my last visit which was really disappointing, didn't satisfy me, really needed '2' lunch boxes but instead I ate pie in a nearby bakery which was quite enjoyable.

5+ Stars! My girlfriend and I love this place, different to others nearby, fabulous slow cooked meats, loved the pork and chicken, salads are delicious, my girlfriend couldn't get enough. Affordably priced, fabulous food.

EDIT: Second review follows
I loved it. Love the concept and the service.
In a kind of way, it's like an open burrito, but Asian style.
Or you could say it's like chicken rice, but with more.
Either way, it's fantastic and you just have to go in and try!

Ok, re-review. This time I went and they measured how much meat you get. It's only 100 grams!!! I must have missed it last time and reviewed based on my excitement of the concept. Anyway, if you go to a kebab house or any Vietnamese type place, they will just pack in the meat. No measurements needed! Also, the salad this time was only mediocre bordering on bland. For the price, I can easily go elsewhere and be happier. The meat was similar to last time, but just wasn't enough.

Can't walk by without having something, I just love their roasted pork roll, not fatty, just delicious. Their salads are tasty, prices really good, service is quick and staff friendly.

There are only two choices at Chicken and Pig: A box with 3 choices of salad and meat in it, or a roll with meat and cabbage or lettuce in it.
The salads are super delicious - the lentil and pumpkin was spectacular. But the meat is a small-regular portion for the box price of $13, and the roll is a bare concoction for the price of $8.

I love slowcooked meat, but this area is teeming with cute hip lunch places, and there is fantastic banh mi for around $8 a quick hop skip and jump away.

Also, the boxes are poorly designed and can get quite leaky. I think they need to rethink that, for the price!

Was a bit shocked no one had discoved this place yet. It's great if you are in a hurry and are after something quick and delicious to eat, the offer the best pork panini rolls, also lamb rolls and many salads to choose from. Absolutely delicious and quick friendly service.
