What a shame you had a bad experience. I have been to several pharmacies in the area in the past and Blackburn north chemmart is by far my favorite pharmacy and no longer go anywhere else. It is my first port of call before the doctor because of the great advise I have been given on all occasions. I find the staff very knowledgeable and friendly and will refer to the pharmacist if they are not sure.

I've used this pharmacy for about three years but stopped recently after being given the wrong advice for my baby. They have a lot of marketing around their service so I spoke to the pharmacist to let him know of the error. He was more interested in defending the advice even though he acknowledged he would have given different advice. I have found on more than one occasion that the less experienced staff are too willing to give advice that is outside of their knowledge based on assumptions they make from the label. In this case it worsened my child's health and, as they weren't interested in learning from feedback, I don't feel I can trust them to provide me with advice in future.
