Went here 23Jan, won't be going back. Staff moved us twice and place was empty. Frappe wasn't a frappe. They packed up outside furniture around us. People sitting at table on mall who had just been served their meals ended up feeling rushed and were left sitting literally in the mall as all the other tables had been put away. They were handed the bill also. Absolutely disgusted as was my friend visiting. No wonder Surfers Paradise is going the way it is.

I'm sure I went there when Expo was on! Really good food, salads were fresh and varied, good kids menu. Great drinks menu. Not the cheapest but quality and service are always spot on.

Charlie's has been on Cavill Ave Mall for as long as I can remember, it's a bit of an institution there. It's the perfect spot to go for breakfast, lunch or dinner and sit and people watch. The last time I was there I had the French toast and it was so good! It's not fine dining, just good tasty food at a reasonable price.

Food was awesome and staff were wonderful. Being able to sit outside in the Mall and watch people added to the experience. We ate the Nachos and they were plenty to share between the 2 of us, left us feeling full and happy and the drinks were very cheap as well
