Campbelltowns best kept secret, Been here quite a few times now and we took friends down last Friday. They couldn't believe how cheap the food was and how well it all tasted,
forget the other places go here!

wandering around Campbelltown railway station & looking for a cheap eat, i came across Campbell court inn - the sign for $8.50 lunch specials had me sold! the layout inside is tavern-style, and my Szichuan beef came out pretty quick. generously served [a whole lotta rice!] tasty, but a bit too much on the oily side - but what could i expect for such a bargain price!?

Approximate cost: $8-$13

Man I'm so happy people are going here! I've been twice this week, had duck soup yummm! Today I had Mongolian beef, it's really tasty and fresh! It's Taiwanese at its best here and always flat chat! I go at night often and it gets busy too! Wonton soup on its own is lovely!

If I were just reviewing the food then it would be five stars all the way. Service is very fast and friendly but all the staff do is take your order and cash (no eftpos here) and bring the food to your table. As far as venues are concerned, this place is a dump! Not a real issue if you're ducking in for the $8.50 lunch special but if you're after a romantic night out or a place to catch up with friends then this place is NOT for you. Attached to the Court Tavern, it reeks of cigarette though it's been well over a decade since you could smoke in here. The buttons are popping off the booth seats, the remnant decor is left over from some previous incarnation of this venue (nothing to do with China) and the scattered beer coasters on the tables and laminated menus will not let you forget you're metres away from a seedy pub with a reputation.

All that aside, I had read so many great reviews about this place that I have been dying to go here for ages. It was so good on my first visit, about two wees ago, that I've been back again. The lunch special is fantastic value and the food is incredibly good. It also gets served steaming hot within five minutes of ordering. $8.50 gets you either a bowl of beef or duck soup or one of several stir-fried dishes alongside a serve of fried rice. So far we've tried the chilli chicken, honey chicken, black bean beef (all fantastic) and the roast duck and wonton noodle soup (good, but not as good or as big).

I will absolutely be returning for this lunch special again and again. I just hope the food and prices last as eateries seem to come and go in this location.

Approximate cost: $8.50

Great review! I guess we can overlook the decor if the food is that good. I must try it!

What can I say this place rocks. It does look dodgy in the pub but who cares its a bargain and absolutely delicious. Today I had Mongolian Beef, very tasty. Lately Ive had the beef wonton soup yum! Special Fried rice YUM! It gets pretty busy and I know why the prices are great, 8.50 for lunch you can get, duck wonton (my favorite soup), mongolian beef, honey chicken yum and heaps others. As I said it doesn't look great inside but this adds to it for me. Give it a go! You wont be disappointed with the food!

Approximate cost: $8.50

This is the best chinese youll find in Campbelltown or anywhere close. Its downstairs inside the COurt Tavern. The y are open for luch daily and dnner. The dim sims are awesome, but my favoroite is the wonton duck soup! Yum! Their dishes are authentic chinese, not sloppy gravy soaked dishes. It gets packed at lunchtime. Its very cheap, for the quality and great specials for lunch. They do take away as well. Go and try the duck soup you wont regret it! I go here at least once a week for work lunches.

Approximate cost: $9
