searched the net for a place to have breakfast around South Yarra and found Gaia. The food was delicious, the service - very professional and we liked the ambiance of the place

Nice cafe with great environment and reasonable prices. We had the lamington hotcakes ($17 and so fluffy) and the porridge ($12 i think), which was creamy and made to perfection

It can be hard to find a really good cafe in South Yarra. Because of its location, with the wealth of activity surrounding High St, Chapel St and Commercial Rd, South Yarra is filled with cafes and bistros that generally all serve up OK but generally boring menus, reasonable/small servings, and disinterested staff service.
Maybe because it is located off the main road....
Whatever it is Cafe Gaia offers great food and a fun, relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

A hidden gem in the leafy neighbourhood of South Yarra. Service was welcoming and friendly. The staff were not snobby.

The food was delicious, had the pork belly for brunch everything on plate was perfect. Large servings so I couldn't finish everything. Coffee is good here too! Loving the seasonal menus!

Highly recommended!
