10 reviews about Cafe China

Having been to this cafe previously, before the renovations, we popped in for a quick lunch.
They used to have really lovely food but this time we were disappointed. We ordered two selections each with noodles or rice at a cost of $21.80. The selection was poor. My lemon chicken was overcooked and tough, and not hot. The service was adequate and the cafe was spotless.
Pity about the food - we will not be returning.

What can you say. They have the best takeaway chinese food in Woodcroft & surrounding suburbs.
We haven't sat down & had a meal but they are always very busy & most tables are full.
The variety is good. You have your basics but they do have the odd thing that isn't on the normal chinese menu.
Their food is so so fresh. They have great vegetarian foods to choose from as well which helps with some of our family needs.
The price is excellent. Can't complain at any level.
We are there at least once a fortnight if not once a week because of the cost & quality.

Approximate cost: $13

Came here for dinner the other day visiting the area and saw this place and felt like Chinese food.
Starting with the soup, we then had a couple of dishes each to share on the table. We order the large special fried rice, the satay scallop and the chicken chow mein as we just wanted to taste a variety of their food. It was very average compared to what there has to offer in the city, but I guess this is good because this is the only Chinese shop in the area that we know about.
The price are high, for example a couple of their omelette dishes are over $15, I mean its just egg???
Would I come back? Only if I am desperate :P

Really had a hankering for some chinese food recently but didn't feel like eating in, a friend I was visiting suggested we go here as he had tried them before.

Was not disappointed, really enjoyed my salt & pepper squid as well as my king prawn fritters entree. Tasted very fresh, full of flavour. My friend tried the garlic king prawn and said it was just as good as previously. Service was fast and friendly and prices were about average, anything with seafood was a bit expensive but tasted great.

Approximate cost: $14+

Newly refurbished, so much more welcoming than the old shop. We only ever get takeaway. Service is also fast and friendly, and importanly the quality of the food is consistently good. Only issue is the price - we would eat here more often if not fo the fact that is costs over $50 to feed 4 people. For a takeaway that's a bit too much, but it is pretty much in line with other Chinese takeaway.

Overall, a great treat but not for every day.

This restaurant is quite new and modern, a friendly atmosphere and are open 7 days. They are fully licenced or you can BYO (to save a bit of money). We first tried them out with some takeaway, we enjoyed the food and then decided to dine-in. We didn't have to wait very long for our order. I had the Chicken with Cashew nuts - it was quite nice and reasonably priced at around $13. My husband tried the Garlic King Prawn and said it was quite good. We enjoyed the entrees as well as the Singapore Noodles. We will be back, but just for take-away

Approximate cost: $13

Brilliant, friendly service and delicious food. We often go to this restaurant for special occasions and have never been disappointed. Value for money and a great all you can eat buffet keeps us coming back.

A good chinese restaurant that offers both a dine in or take away. Nothing spectacular, but not bad. Fairly average in all areas. As a chinese option in the south, its worth a look.

My husband and I have dined in this Cafe / restaurant a couple of times and have had good experiences with the food and the atmosphere. The service was ok, nothing special but the value for money is good so I will dine here again.
