if you ever were to land a plane somewhere this is it!
so much to see taste smell, excellent quality wines, knowledgeable and helpful staff, and the browns themselves doing the tour and explaining the processes, makes for a lovely day out

This is one big winery! Brown brothers was established in 1885 and produces a wide variety of wines which can be bought at cellar door or in shops like dan murphies. The staff are lovely and very knowledgable at the tasting. Only one wine on the tasting list wasn't available as it was sold out, we were made aware of this before looking at the listing which was very considerate. I found a half dry Riesling which I liked and is only available at the cellar door, my husband found a limited release durif which he liked. I would recommend both family and friends to go and visit to learn more about the wine making process and try other brown brothers wines which you might not have tried yet.

Sounds like a enjoyable experience, both educational and fun. I love Browns Brothers wines, now that I know where the winery is I would definitely pay a visit to taste the wines that are not readily available in stores. Thanks for your review.

Fantastic winery and cellar door. Well worth a visit. It is a really pretty winery, with a wonderful product. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We spent a really delightful time there. This was my second visit and definitely won't be my last. The only downside is that we managed to spend more than we planned. The upside is we had some gorgeous wines to drink once we got home.

Great place for a quiet lunch, we stopped in on the way to beechworth and were very impressed by the food. Brown Brothers is a well known wine, but has some varieties as cellar door only. Worth a visit!

Approximate cost: $30

Great friendly winery with a great range of tasting options. They also have some very nice cheese to sample while you're tasting their wines. I enjoy their sweeter wines, but they also have a lot of the drier varieties.
