We were living in Broome for work purposes and my birthday came around. As we weren't able to take many days off and it was a 2 day drive to Perth we were looking for something nice to do in town. I had always wanted to go camel riding on the beach so we booked the sunrise Cable beach camel walk. They were well prepared with more camels then the minimum required and they were able to tell you about the history of the camel you were riding. For example, ours had come from Alice Springs way. The tour itself was fun and they took pictures for us along the way with our own camera so you don't have to pay for photos. Getting on was easy, but getting down the camel in front of me backed up a bit too fast and I got head butted. I was fine, but have come to the conclusion that I prefer shorter camel trains. However I wouldn't have given up the experience to go camel riding on Cable Beach!

We were told not to miss a sunset camel ride so we booked with this company as they were the ones available and cheaper than the other one we looked at. The guide was so lovely and friendly, didn't mind taking photos for us and gave us heaps of information about Broome in general, where to eat, what else to do etc. We went further up the beach than I saw the other company to go which made it an even better deal. Would highly recommend to anyone going to Broome

This experience was a true WOW. The guides are friendly and displayed great knowledge of the local area. Cable Beach is a wow just on its wow. If you don't mind the smell of camels, go for it.

We took the sunset camel ride and it was awesome! The main guide was really informative and all the guides along the walk were only too happy to answer any questions we had and provided lots of information about the camel we were on. They also took as many photos as we wanted during the walk and got very good ones of the sunset and us! It was a little cheaper than the other companies and a longer walk too.

You see all those pictures in the advertising of the Broome Camel ride so on our trip we figured we had to do it. We both really had a great time, my partner more so. We did the sunset one and it was worth the $60. We took the camel train with the blue blankets as they were $5 cheaper than the other 2 companies and it was good because they even walked further along the beach so we got a longer ride. It was all it's cracked up to be

Approximate cost: $60
