After looking in many bridal shops, I decided to by a simple dress online, and visited Brides of Brighton for some alterations just because they were near home. I am so glad I did! Susie and Cecilia completely understood what I wanted, and offered up innovative suggestions to make it even better than I imagined. They were super pleasant, flexible and helpful. You get what you pay for! Don't risk it anywhere else.

These ladies are just the best, they helped with my alterations, gave advice and suggestions and I could not be happier with the result. I would recommend them highly but not just for bridal they do all sorts of alterations mens and ladies and I will be going back there for my day to day alts as well. I found them through WOMO and wanted to share back with the WOMO readers that the reviews here are all 100% spot on in describing their service as brilliant.

I visited the lovely ladies at Brides of brighton to have my dress only slightly adjusted and they were just amazing went through everything step by step, made sure the dress fit perfectly and the cost was about $300 cheaper than i had been quoted at other alterations places, they took such good care of my gown and steamed it before each visit to make sure it was in the best condition possible. I have recommend them to at least 5 of my friends getting married and i cannot wait to wear my perfect fitting wedding dress.

The ladies here made me feel so special and made such amazing suggestions for improving my wedding dress - which I had simply purchased off the rack. It was their attention to detail that gave my dress that extra wow factor, and the experience just made me feel like a princess. For all the alterations they made here and there, the service and value was exceptional. I would definitely recommend Brides of Brighton.

I recently had my wedding dress (plus my bridesmaids) altered by Susie and Cecilia. I bought the dress online, and it was too big in some areas, and tight in others - as can be imagined, I was worried about how it may look on the big day.
After reading the reviews on WOMO, I made the decision to bring my gown to the ladies at BoB. They were patient, understanding and more importantly, knew what they were doing! I felt at ease and reassured that my dress were in good hands. After several fittings (they were so accommodating with after hours fittings), the dress was perfect and I am in love with it!
I cannot recommend Susie and Cecilia enough, and will refer all my friends to their business.

Great experience at Brides of Brighton, I felt in very good hands given that I'd bought the dress in Sydney and couldn't use their recommended alterations company. Every appointment was on time, they were so accommodating about getting it right and doing what was necessary for the dress regardless of time/effort.

I cannot thank Susie and Cecelia enough for their expertise and professionalism in making my dress fit to my body shape. My dress was ordered one size smaller by the bridal store and with less than 2 months till my wedding I was panicking. Susie and Cecelia assured me they could fix my wedding dress in time.

I was expecting to pay a lot for what they quoted me for alterations-taking out the seams,adding bust cups, bustle loop and taking in the sides to give my dress more of the mermaid silhouette, but it was so affordable and conveniently close to where I live (especially for 2-3 fittings during the weekdays) I didn't even think twice about using their service.

I have friends who are getting married and have already recommended Susie and Cecelia for alterations to their wedding dress.
