fish is fresh and chips are crispy. generous servings, friendly staff and good prices. no waiting, got served instantly

I have ordered fish and chips here on around 5 or 6 occassions . The batter on the fish is great. The chips are lovely. The quality of the fish is average. The lady who serves is always friendly.

Had a hankering for fish & chips mid-week but already consumed too many bevvies to drive. Thought I'd try the local fish n chip takeaway. Got ignored by staff initially, once I got their attention I felt that I was inconveniencing them by ordering. Took quite a while to arrive. Lucky I was hungry and opened it just after leaving shop. had chips & fish but no corn jack and no dim-sims!! Learnt my lesson - check reviews on WOMOW first !!!!!!!

The fish was good and chips tasty. Prices are reasonable. Overall experience spoilt my order being messed up - only found out after I had driven home. When I went back staff implied it was my fault and no apology given.

Takeaway fish and chips that we have tried on a number of occasions. Each time they have got our order wrong. Although they fix it, there is no apology and the correct part of order goes cool while waiting for fresh food. Learn't to open pack in shop as the first few times we drove home and then found mistake. Prices are average and food is OK - nothing to rave about. Only open 'til 8pm.
