Very poor service. Abrupt even. When asking for a particular dish, I was told I would only be served from a table. As they were all occupied I suggested I would sit at an outside table. That was answered with "Next!"

My husband remembered hearing of this pub a while back from his mum after saying she had been there, so today whilst out for a drive visiting family, we took a detour and found this pub for lunch

Its a beautiful quaint county style pub with fire place, dining area and separate pub section.

We ordered chicken parma (no surprise my husband's favourite) and i had the grain feed steak.

Truly delicious meals cooked perfectly with golden chips and vegies and salad on the side!!

I asked the staff to have the steak well cooked and it wasn't tough as it can be at times when you order it well done, but it was absolutely delicious!!! one of the best steaks I've had in a long time.

Staff were very friendly and checking on us if we had ordered our meals as we were sitting down for a while waiting for our meal.

truly a wonderful discovery and highly recommend it
