Updated April 2013: Had lunch here today, special of the day was Lemon Myrtle Salad with choice of prawns, chicken, calamari or a couple of other options, (can't remember them!) for $13.90.
The wait was 15 minutes, did leave me wondering how long it takes to cook the calamari, as presumably they had the salad pre-made and just had to dump it on the plate.
In their defense, it was 1pm and EXTREMELY busy.
When it came - the calamari was beautifully fresh and perfectly cooked, tender and tasty. Proper strips of calamari, not the formed-from-minced-meat stuff.
The salad was tasty, and the presentation good - it didn't look as they'd just dumped salad on a plate and plonked the calamari on top, it looked and tasted great.
Lunch service for hot meals is getting a ticket with a number on it, and it flashes up on the screen when ready. Given how busy it was, I had no trouble finding a seat.
Will make an effort to come here for lunch from work sometimes, given how good it was today.
