Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Even though they have fancy equipment, I was very disappointed with the end result of their work on my vehicle. The staff there are unprofessional, arrogant and rude. The customer service is appalling. Overall, they're not very helpful, untrustworthy and a waste of time and money.

Having had a good experience with Blackburn Motor Body in the past, I had no hesitation in using them again when our Volvo XC60 was hit recently.

We were fortunate that our insurance company, AAMI, was happy to send an assessor to BMB even though they are not an AAMI approved repairer (kudos to AAMI). Once AAMI accepted the quote we were booked in and it was smooth sailing.

The repair is flawless and comes with a five year guarantee. The car was ready when they said it would be, although it took five days to repair due to a delay in sourcing a part.

My only beef was they took out one of child seats, which had been professionally fitted! I explained that they needed to check with owners in future before removing seats or engage a seat fitter themselves to re-fit seats.

Their workshop is new and impressive and their staff are always courteous. The waiting area could do with some sprucing up though.

As we were not at fault, the repair came at no cost to us.

I took my car here to be fixed after having some one ram me from behind. They were not very friendly or helpful at accommodating me. I recently went back to seek some further advice on a new dent to be fixed and I never even received a phone call or email as follow up. Would not use again!

Disappointing! I was suggested to use this business through my insurance company. I found the time that was suggested to complete the damage was 2.5 weeks over what they had first advised! There were extra marks on the car that had not previously been there when I first dropped it off!

Background:
I recently experienced extensive damage to my car where I got hit from behind and had to find a Subaru Preferred Repair Centre to make sure it got fixed properly; this place was the closest by far and I had heard good things about it before.
I lodged a claim with my insurance company and got the approval for the repairs within 1 day then dropped off my car on a Thursday and got it back within a week which was very quick considering the extent of the damage.
Overall Experience:
All staff were very courteous and attentive to my claim all the way from the receptionist right down the the workshop staff; I was kept up to date with phone calls on the status of the repairs often and they delivered on what they promised.
