1 review about Birdwing Cafe & Curios

Thoroughly enjoyed our late morning breakfast here. Inside dining is homely and comfortable, with odd curios and books around, and outside dining looks across the road to the river, also nice and peaceful. It was quite busy when we were there, appearing to be popular, and service was quick and friendly.
The scrambled tofu came out completely different to what we expected, mixed with mushrooms and other veges, with a great flavour.
Tea served in a vintage pot and inscribed as a gift from a husband Norm to his wife Thelma back in 1942 was a lovely nostalgic touch.
The cost was normal for any cafe.
If you have time, there is a room at the back with records, books and other bygone era goodies to take you back.
All in all, a lovely pleasant place for a meal with plenty of food options.
