I purchased a set of Giant MTB Pedals from Bicycle Superstore in Nunawading which were incorrectly priced. There were two different prices appearing for the same product in different colours (multiple pricing). The sales person suggested I pay more than the bar code stickered price which I did as it was still a good deal. However I thought this was a bit odd at the time and have queried company policy with their head office with regard to incorrectly priced items to which there was no response apart from suggesting I speak to the Nunawading store. My experience of other retailers is that they honour the sticker price and then fix the error.
In my opinion this is in breach of Australian Consumer Law on multiple pricing (https://www.lawanswers.com.au/blog/australian-consumer-law-rights-incorrect-pricing/) and they should have sold me the item for the lower price or removed the items from sale until the pricing is corrected. I have reported them to the ACCC and Consumer affairs Victoria. AVOID
