I was really pleased with the service at Biba Moonee Ponds. They were on time, friendly, the hairwash was gentle and relaxing, and the cut by Marcello is just what I asked for and expertly done.

Terrible service, they take so long to do a simple t/zone colour and I've been growing out one of the worst haircuts I've ever had! One side was cut longer than the other and it's still uneven. This salon is like a fridge , it's uncomfortably cold. The bathroom is outside and the presentation is poor, as it looks unclean and cheap. The assistant never uses the right products when drying out your hair so it looks bad when you leave. It's a demoralising experience! Not going back again..

I asked to Colour a couple of foils on the top of my hair to match my currently hair Colour. I also advised I loved the other blond underneath. I came out with extremely dark hair with almost all the blond gone. The cut was even worse with feather layers at the back that stick out like fluffy feathers and not smooth. Save your money, over priced and terrible service. The hairdresser could clearly see I wasn't pleased and walked off and left me with the apprentice to sort out my hair.

I had been a satisfied customer until Adrian didn't listen to what I wanted and in his arrogance he gave me a cut that he thought I would love! After showing him the same photo I had shown him ever other time he then without even asking gave me the opposite of what I wanted! How many times do you have to tell some one "don't thin out the ends" and "blunt bob" not to short!!!!! Thanks for ruining my Xmas, my hair looks like utter shit!!!!

Today I booked for a all over colour and blow wave.
The colour was fine, all over dark-really impossible to get wrong. As I have long hair I expected what I have had in the past at other hair salons-a roller brush used with the blow dryer to give direction and root volume and curling tongs used to create the wave I had asked for and shown the stylist in a picture.
My hair was dried flat and a few ghd curls put through by what appeared was a very trainee hairdresser.A bit of teasing on the roots and thats all.All things I have done myself to a much better standard with my own ghds.
I hate complaining so handed over my card spending over $200 and didnt say anything but wish I had.
Incredibly dissapointed I will re styling my hair myself tonight.
Overall not a great atmosphere, the staff not very friendly and lacked professionalism. Something you expect when paying top dollar . Won't be returning there again.

The cut was fine. The colour and service were atrocious. The lady doing my colour put blonde highlights through my hair, from platinum to brassy gold. I specifically asked her NOT to put blonde in my hair. It was obvious I was unhappy but paid anyway. When I phoned them the next day to fix the colour, The owner actually yelled at me and made me feel as though it was my fault for being so unhappy with the experience. I paid an additional $100 just to have my colour fixed.

Thank you Adrian for an excellent haircut, great service and expert advice. I usually only get my haircut twice a year, but I was happy to rebook after my treatment today.

The staff at Biba are excellent at what they do. I took my teenage son there straight after a disastrous haircut elsewhere. They saw how bad his haircut was and made time for him immediately. Needless to say, my son walked out of there looking like a new young man. Since then the whole family have made them our hairdressers of choice!

I decided to try this place as it always looks busy. I felt the male hairdresser (might be owner/manager) couldn't be bothered, I asked for suggestions & he came up with nothing. Throughout the hair cut he was chatting to everyone apart from me. I guess i didn't their image as I was wearing comfy clothes. My hair cut was very average for what I paid. Wasn't happy.

My first experience at Biba was good I got a new funky cut that I was pleased with, I went back for a colour as staff had suggested to "top off the new do". My second experience was not as satisfactory. My hair is pretty short and I could not really tell the difference in the colour except one area that was meant to be ash blonde looked more green then anything else. Definatly not worth the money.
