The decore in this place is fun and the food is very nice. The staff however did not seem happy to be there and pretty much gave service without even looking the customers in the eye, which I found impersonal and quite rude. Prices where certainly not what I would call good value, and taking two adults and two kids there for a light lunch worked out to be quite pricey.

It is such a shame. This place has good potential. It would be great if you could order a burger with great toppings and sides that tasted awesome. Sadly this is just not the case. The burgers are plain, tasteless and expensive. The chips are few and far between. Felt like I paid $14.00 for something that was smaller and more tasteless than a MacDonald's cheeseburger (costing just $1.75). Would never order hamburger from here ever again

I haven't ever found the food at Betty's to be stale as the other reviewer here has mentioned, however it is true that the service can be slow and the burger fillings and sides are stingy (or not there). The shakes are very good though, sometimes I will just go for these.

You would expect fantastic burgers from a specialty burger joint - but no, slightly stale bun that looked like it had come from Woolworths. No mayo or sauce. Nothing special in the burger for $14 and not a single chip in site. For that price you would think they came with the burger but at this place you have to pay for everything as an extra, it would have been nice to be told that on ordering or asked if we want fries
