Great bistro meals at reasonable prices - a bit on the expensive side though. Food service pretty quick, bar service slow at times. Relaxing atmosphere, quieter than other pubs . . . it is nice to be able to have a conversation at the table.

Have been here on a number of occasions and each time we managed to get the last remaining unbooked table, so i know they can get pretty busy. The meals are filling and i always leave satisfied. Can't complain about the service and the place is quite clean each time i have visited, which is always nice.

ANYONE WHO SAYS PUB FOOD IS GOOD IS KIDDING THEMSELVES REGARDING THIS BUSINESS. THE KITCHEN IS SOOO DIRTY I AM IN DISSARAY WHY IT'S EVEN OPEN. I'D HATE TO SEE HOW THEIR KITCHENS LOOK AT HOME. THE FOOD IS JUST AWFUL I GURANTEE YOU'LL SEND IT BACK. THAY CAN'Y COOK SEAFOOD AND LIE ABOUT THEIR FRESH PRODUCE WHICH YOU WOULDNT FEED YOUR DOG

Our part of 8 was pretty squashed, but I could put up with that if the service had been OK. This would have to be one of my worst dining experiences in the district - the food was more than an hour coming out, the waitress was rude when queried, and when the food finally arrived, she blamed the lateness on one of our meal choices. Won't be back again.

Dined out at the pub last night meals were great, price was good so was the service catered for my grandson overall an enjoyable experience, tables were clean atmosphere good

They try for an"Old world atmosphere that does not quite work, his is a big pub and its size does not match the decor , The food is Ok and prices average, but the staff are very friendly and make going here enjoyable.

I'll be honest. One of the worst. The table set up was bad, our chairs were pushed up against the chairs of the dining party behind us, it was crammed and we couldnt even get out. Felt awful and very economic. A friend who was blocked in at the end against a wall had to crawl over wall to get out!
