Large Sunday market that has a bit of everything I always buy my moccasins from here because they are a great price and last me for years. Also regular customers to Darren with his football card stall, the fresh Turkish bread shop and the hot jam donut shop. Rides for the kids including pony rides and jumping castles, there is something here for everyone. Ample car parking inside and outside the showgrounds
the bendigo market is sometimes really good and other times pretty crap. it just depends on what stalls are there for te day but it is always worth a little wander in the sun. we try to go every weekend to get the local turkish bread from one of the stalls inside as its the best in bendigo! and the hot potato man is always the highlight with the best jacket potatoes in town!
love getting hot jam donuts from here
Nicely set out market.. I can only compare it with QVM.. their are heaps of stalls with everything you could think of.. Loads of hot food and the dim sims were really nice.. will come back again.
This weekly market is a really great venture. It is conveniently located with plenty of free parking spots nearby. There is something for everyone - fresh produce, clothes, watches, sunglasses, toys, books, furnitures, tyres, dvds, bric-a-brac, even mobile phone repairs. Toilet facilities are adequate. Different kinds of food are on offer - hot & cold drinks, hot food like hamburgers, chips, hot dogs (and fried hot dogs as well), Asian fried rice & dim sim, Indian samosas etc.
A great place for people of all ages to enjoy a lovely day out!! You might find a great bargain, or that one-of-a-kind piece you've been on the hunt for. I would definitely recommend this to everyone, whether you're visiting Bendigo or a local!
Approximate cost: $0
