Looove this place! Venessa is my hairdresser and the only hairdresser I have ever felt comfortable being honest with. We can either have a chat whilst she does my hair or if I just want to chill with some magazines, she leaves me to it. She knows how to work my extremely damaged hair and is always honest with what she thinks is realistic. And she gives me a great cut that is easy to manage at home. Even though I have now moved to Newtown, I still make the trek out to the Hills every 8 weeks. Oh, when you get a treatment, they do the BEST head massage. Not one of those that only goes for 3 minutes until the hairdresser gets bored. It goes for the entire time the treatment is on. Nice touch!

Being a hair colour 'virgin', I was incredibly nervous that I might end up with neon highlights. Vanessa just knew what would work best for me and I now have a subtle hair colour and cut I adore. It's pricey, no doubt about that, and they do let you know the cost before starting anything. But if you are fussy about your hair and enjoy a little pampering, this is the place to be. Best hairdressers I've ever had.

Wow, what a place... I have never felt more comfortable in a hair salon than I have at Belcastro. As a new customer i was a bit nervous, but my friend assured me to just enjoy the experience. I must say I have never sat through a consultation about my colour and cut with so much detail. But I loved it, it made me feel so much more relaxed. Also knowing the price before anything had started, I thought that was very courteous. Most of all a very big thank you to Michael for my new look. I LOVE IT! : )

I had my haircut by Jess for the first time at Belastro Hair Salon last week.. and it definitely WONT be my last! She is amazing. Every step of the way she talked and explained and guided me through - and never once lost her patience. It's so great to see a small salon like this with such great talent. It's hard to trust anyone with your hair...but Jess made me feel, for the first time in my life, that I could relax and enjoy the experience. Already excited about my next appointment :D

As you walk into Belcastro you are greeted by the maitra de, she sits you down offers you a magazine and an extremely tasty cappuccino. I must admit the customer service is fantastic all the staff are extremely friendly and vibrant, from the black classy decor in Belcastro to the vibrating massage chairs as you get your hair washed, its all so relaxing, Overall this place is beautiful. On a downside a friend of mine got hair extensions (Great Lengths rating= 9) the bond looked like it was placed to far down (3.5cm from scalp) , the cost compared to mine was almost double. Hair extensions = 4 Colorists = 8.5 Customer service = 9.
