This place serves dead on California style taqueria burritos that put most other Mexican restaurants to shame. Run by a friendly Californian dude who's down to have a chat, this spot is so good its worth traveling to visit. Get a big ol' beef burrito with some guacamole, and an orange Jarrito to wash it down with and you could swear you were in San Diego. Awesome!

The food here is fantastic and fresh with heaps of options. It resembles Chipotle in the US and is like nowhere else in aus ive been. The owner is very friendly and generously gave us some fantastic corn chips and salsa for free! Highly recommend. Also for anyone who is a fan of trippy taco in collingwood, definitley try this place- similar in that the food actually has the flavours of mexico- only downside has a less initimate and more commercial feel- best to takeaway or if only looking to eat on the run.

Approximate cost: $13.00

Great burritos but you must try the street tacos with pork. They are my absolute favorite item here.
Chips and salsa...yum.
Now, after talking about it I know where I'll be going tomorrow. Hasta manana!

Fantastic, very authentic and just like what we used to get in Texas.
So happy to be able to finally get a GREAT burrito in Melbourne.
Food is healthy, offers great variety and good prices. We were espcially
happy to see that they have kid sized meals at good prices.

Great filling burritos. Looks small but packs a lot. Seems a little pricey for a burrito the length of 2 fists but it's heavy and the food taste good. Great for eating on the go or in the park. Far less mess than a souvlaki!

I woke up today, a sunny Melbourne Saturday, with a craving for coriander, of all things! High Tech Burrito is not high tech. It is the freshest, tastiest, BESEST Mexican I have ever had -hands down. The hardest part is deciding what amazing combination of beans, sauces and fresh salad to choose! It was super quick, affordable, friendly and not over-seasoned or salty. Be sure to get the tortilla chips -corn chips....eat your heart out! I can't wait to go back to try the different burritos. It is cheap, friendly, organised and SO FILLING! I would highly recommend trying it!

The menu is huge and serving size substantial. The steak in my burrito was kind of bland and I was kind of expecting free (corn) chips and salsa on the side. They did a good job wrapping it and the american bloke was really cool!

Approximate cost: $12
