I was phoned & asked to call & see this agency after they had seen my resume. Apparently there was a job for a particular company who needed someone straight away and my profile seemed to fit the criteria. I arrived at the agency within the hour & went through an induction and watched a safety video. I was told that I would be contacted later that day after my particulars had been forwarded to the company involved. I never heard back and after numerous attempts of calling & leaving messages asking for a reply over the next few days, even calling the office land-line on 2 occasions who assured me that my message would be acted on, I still never received a phone call. So I rang & left a message saying that "I would come in & see what the story was."
Well, surprise,surprise, I ACTUALLY received a call informing me that the job was no longer available - What would you expect after all that time!!! I expressed my rather displeasurable opinion (in a courteous manner) without any expletives and was then hung up on.
What an absolutely disrespectful, ignorant and inadequate service. I would advise any job-seeker to steer clear of this time-wasting recruitment agency. I am in disbelief as to how some of these people obtain these jobs as I don't think that they deserve to have them, especially when they are supposed to be finding you employment.
