I had always thought this place looked high-priced, until I was stuck for some last minute birthday gifts and went in.

What a surprise! Yes, there are some very expensive items such as massive telescopes, but in general there were a great range of scientific and fun toys, activities, games and objects to please any child's interest and your budget.

I came out with Nebula nightlights, Geode cracking rocks, a giant blow up platypus and many other unusual and amazing items for under $50.

The gentleman was helpful when I told him the age and interests of the child and suggested quite a few different things.

It's a nicely laid out shop with so much to interest and entertain and it's not plastic, breakable use once stuff. Kids can learn about our flora and fauna, do geology, astronomy, and lots of other things while having a great time.

Highly recommended.

Approximate cost: $From a few dollars to a lot. Big range.
