Not recommend. The supposedly fresh reef snapper fillets that are in season when cooked became that tough you could not even pull them apart. This is most likely because they are old and or been frozen at some stage. Cost a mint and could not be eaten at all. This the the second time we have been caught out and never again. Look else where.
It the only place to buy Seafood in north Brisbane, needs a number service system as it can get very busy but a great shop all round
I have been visiting Aussie Seafood House since they opened a few years back. I was so excited when they opened because other than buying seafood from Coles and Woolies we would have to travel 40 mins to Morgans which I find to be very expensive and very busy. Aussie Seafood House has a better range of fresh fish than Morgan's plus they have several freezers full of frozen and crumbed items. They also have specialty items like duck, white bait, and some things I have never even heard of before. They also have lots of different sauce and spices and they always have different fish cooked with the different spices available for tasting. I have always found the fish to be fresh. I would highly recommend them. Their prices are what you would expect to pay but for me, I will always buy fish on qulaity, not price.
I'm not a huge seafood eater but if I ever feel like some this is where I go. The seafood always looks really fresh and there's a really big variety to choose from. Staff are always helpful in selecting something very mild for my tastes. This place gets incredibly busy around Christmas time which to me says it must be a good spot.

I love this place. Always friendly staff. Samples of food for sale on offer. Huge variety in all seafood. Nor only fresh seafood but processed seafood's, ideal for entertaining and poultry and meats availables.
Lovely, fresh seafood - also seafood for cooking with. Staff very friendly, helpful and give advice on trying new receipes.

We have found them good but they need to look further afield like in Cairns for a much larger range of reef fish and barrimundi etc. There are a lot of wholesalers around Portsmith, you know.
