While the facilities and value for money are excellent, it is the only pool where we have found pieces of feasces in the water. It takes a special type of person to poop in a public pool. Today's incident was the last straw. We will not be going there again.

I always loved the Aquadome as a child and recently my daughter went there for a 5th birthday party. My daughter had a great time which is most important. But my husband who took her suggested that we not use it as a party venue for the following reasons: the games the instructor was trying to play with the kids were not age appropriate (they didn't really understand how to play), there were a lot of other parties going on around our party, and he didn't think much of the food on offer. I still think it is a fab place to swim but perhaps not the best place for a party.

We had my daughter's birthday party here and I was very impressed! I chose the Aquadome as I have a 15 month old son and the fact that it's an indoor pool guaranteed he'd be able to attend. The party hosts started the games as soon as the guests arrived. The food was enough for afternoon tea for 15 kids and some adults nibbling. They supply the birthday cake and candles and cut and serve the cake. Then the best part - they clean up. I was very happy with the experience and would recommend them for kids parties in a heart beat.

I've been going here with friends since I was a child. Its a fantastic place for adults to young children. The changing rooms are tidy & clean. It's very affordable and all undercover, which means it's great all year round.

have been going to the Aquadome even since I was little, have taken my own 2 kids as they grew up - the slides are amazing, it is great it is all undercover etc. affordable prices aswell!! close to public transport if you don`t drive or live in walking distance!!

I love coming to the Aquadome. The staff in the Health Club are helpful and show encouragement. The Group Fitness Classes are fun but sometimes way too crowded.

Ended up at the Aquadome by default one day and hadn't been for years but was really impressed with the place. It is one of the best value for money pools and the kids loved the waterslide, which unlike other places, was a flat fee for unlimited rides during specified times. My youngest loved the kids pool and it is a great setup in terms of variety and safety. The lifeguards, particularly the one who seemed to be in charge, were really on the ball, and the times we have been there we have not experienced any unruly behaviour or danger. We have subsequently been back.

Really love the new fitout of the aquadome at Elizabeth has really improved the centre 10 fold. Used the gym prior to having my baby. Can't wait to get back into shape after the baby comes next week. Really great prices, classes and the free creche is wonderful for busy mums like me.

Since its redevelopment I feel that the Aquadome is a much safer environment for swimmers of all ages. All of the pools are under cover now which provides safety from sunburn. Prior to this, the Toddler's pool was outdoors. The waterslide is covered for the first half of the ride to prevent falling and is now in a bigger pool, instead of a junior pool, risking harm to small children. There also seems to be more lifeguards present to watch for danger and they have no qualms about removing people displaying inappropriate behaviour.
