Can't be beaten for quality, quantity or price; the owner and cooks are always friendly and welcoming. We've stopped at Apollo several times now, en route from Melbourne to Port Fairy – they are open even on Sundays – and the fish is always fresh, the chips excellent and the souvlaki to die for. The servings are usually enough to make for a late dinner, too, after the long drive.

I get my tea here once a week, and will keep doing so, its the best seafood, always fresh. I love the fish the most! The owners and workers here are the friendlest people, thay always have a chat, and there always so happy. You can even eat there if you like, or outside on a good day.

As far as Fish and Chip shops go, I have to say, "Wow!!", these guys are fantastic. The fish is very fresh and the chips are perfect. We sat out the front, as we were passing through Colac, and the owner made sure he brought out extra serviettes for us. A very nice touch. I'd go back to Colac just for the quality, and the service is also brilliant.
