Can't believe that this place hasn't got full marks all around! It is simply the best brekkie in Brisbane. My partner and me come here every weekend without fail. The food is simply divine; never had anything quite like it! The ingredients are of an impeccable quality and always fresh, meaning excellent value for money. Not only this, but there are items on the menu that are delightfully unusual. The staff are always lovely and very accommodating. You seriously need to try this place!

Anouk is a cute place in a great location with a great vibe, but food wise I'm just not sold. I've been three times over the last 8 months or so and each time was underwealmed. The food is definitely not bad, don't get me wrong, I don't have any real complaints about it. But Anouk has a reputation for being one of the best breakfast places in Brisbane so I have high expectations. There are a couple of interesting things on the menu but in all the food doesnt seem to be up to date with current trends and quality and execution wise my meals have just been ok. Service is a bit hit and miss too.

ordered house smoked salmon, it tasted really awesome and i really enjoyed it. however, one of the waiteress wasnt friendly at all, she was all moody and cold towards us. totally spoiled my experience there! if it werent for that waitress, it would have been a thoroughly enjoyable breakfast for me and friends. hopefully the next time i return there for the food, it would be much better.

I've been her a few times for breakfast and lunch, and food has always been superb. Even my fussy parents were impressed, which says a lot!

I also recommend you get dessert, which is big and delicious!

I have also popped in for a takeaway coffee before, and they were fast. They are always friendly too.

I'll try my parents, too. Isn't it hard to get them somewhere they find acceptable. Cheers for that

We decided to try Anouk one weekday morning after lots of good feedback about their breakfasts. We weren't disappointed. Firstly for a weekday morning the place was full (I can't imagine the crowd on a weekend!)
The cafe itself is airy and pleasant, the service efficient and friendly. The menu offers a wonderful range of goodies from sweet to savoury, as well as juices and smoothies. I ordered the breakfast bruschetta with crushed beans and pancetta and a side of scrambled eggs. My husband had the spanner crab omelette. Delish! The only minor down side was the portions were a little on the smaller side, however this is far outweighed by the quality of the food.
We will definitely be back!

Super busy and not just because of its paddington location. This is a fantastic breakfast bar, wade through the trendies with their manicured pooches and you get a fantastic spin on your breakfast favorites. The colorful, concoctions tempted me to try their savory mince with avocado and sour cream.......amazing! And although Bacon and eggs is a favorite of mine, I was left with no regrets but still leftovers on the plate, as the serving size is amazing as well. So get up early and wade through the trendies......or take your own pup along as they alow pets in the outside seating and get amongst a fantastic breakfast treat.

Approximate cost: $15-$20

To be honest, I expected a little more from this place given it's been rated by almost 600 people on Urban Spoon. Not to speak of it negatively however, the food is pretty standard price (between $10-25) and the menu is varied and whets your appetite, not to mention the impressive list of delicious sounding smoothies, fruit shakes etc service was attentive but the young waiters were a little inexperienced, but the cafe was buzzing with a great atmosphere and our lunches were very tasty, but not groundbreaking. This seems to be one of the most popular cafes in Brisbane, so I'd have to say I recommend it if you're in the area!

Approximate cost: $18

Excellent cafe with an interesting selection of meals available. Great coffee and delicious food. The staff are fast and friendly. They have a great selection of freshly blended juices too.
