I Unfortunately had a horrible experience with the lash extensions I received at Amea May. I had a really bad reaction to which resulted in itchy, swollen, red, inflamed & gunky eyes with blurred vision. I had to see an optometrist who confirmed the lashes were a direct result of my symptoms & I had to go on a course of antibiotic eye drops. Other than this scary & uncomfortable experience, I was extremely disappointed with the lack of care & follow up I received from Amea May herself. After not providing any compensation, she also discontinued to communicate with me after my severe concerns.

We did call you back and you weren't too fussed over the phone. Then when you revisited our salon we removed your lashes free of charge as we take this kind of thing very seriously, even though there was zero sign of irritation to your eyes when you came in. We were happily staying in touch, until you provided false photos, which were clearly from a previous salon visit as your hair was a completely different shade, which you tried to crop out.
It was clear to us you only wanted lashes for the event you had that weekend, and then wanted your money back.
Hi Amea, I'm sorry but I don't feel I could say I believe you are sorry to hear this. The communication from you was extremely poor & delayed at the time I was experiencing the reaction. You then ceased communication soon after. I let it go at that stage until recently a certain bullying video you published targeting me. I felt a review was necessary. At the time of removal, the lash technician herself said the irritation was apparent & photos were taken because of her concern. I don't feel as though I even need to justify it but since you've mentioned it yourself, you've made me feel I need to. The photo I sent you was from first thing in the morning when my eyes were at their worst, I'm not sure about you but I'm not the type of person to go out in public with gunky eyes, swollen eyes. I cleaned & iced them prior to visiting the salon for removal. I have naturally brown hair & can only see brown around my face in just a matter of days after getting blonde highlights. Getting my money back was the very least of my concern, it's very clear however that you obtaining my money was the main focus of your concern. I had always been a fan of your salon & even referred clients but the fact that you took to YouTube to publish a video labelled "LYING BITCH TRIED TO TRICK ME" says a lot about not only the type of person that you are, but also the unprofessional business owner you are.
