Not bad, there can be quite a few people at times and there's almost no seating which makes it hard to eat. Burgers are a little boring in comparison to other new burger places. The chips were great and I went back for more. It's ok if you get in early and get a seat around the fire.
Approximate cost: $10-20
Alfreds have been around for ages, and it is understandable why. These guys produce the best tasting burgers, fresh and tasty, the way real burgers should be. Their soup is awesome as well, service can be a little slow but considering how busy these guys are, totally understandable. (they do phone orders so you can order on your way). Having a burger while sitting next to the fire is a great way to have dinner on the go!! highly recommended, all they need is a frequent shopper card and I would be set.
Approximate cost: $12
A great little place to enjoy a casual meal out around the footpath fire and watch the traffic go by! Great value, good little spot to visit in guilford
Very good food great value has a large selection ,.
We loved the log fire on the foot path in winter .
My Mum is 80 years old and she used to visit Alfred's Kitchen when she was a young teenager. They would all love to rock up to the lovely burning fire side and feast on the famous and best burgers in the world and the wonderful home made pea soup. They would stop in after dances or the movies in Rolf Harris's car with a naked lady painted on the back. Ha what a great time that must have been. And made even greater with Alfreds! It is lovely to have such an icon for us to visit even now after all this time. Keep it up Alfreds. We need you.
Went to this place based on a recommendation from a local friend in the area. Wow, we just love it! especially love the burger around the fire during winter/ cold nights! Their Burgers are not greasy, very good portions, and delicious. However, don't go there if you are want a quick fix there's an easy 30 minute wait, or you can get the soup first!
Approximate cost: $15
When I feel like a burger i go to Alfred's now!
Fresher ingredients, more variety, a vegetarian option patty and not oily. Better than the fastfood chain burgers for sure.
Chips and soup are great too :)
I love Alfred's. We go there whenever we want a burger. Their chips are so good to. Yumm yumm yumm
Great burgers...even compared to the other up market burger joints. Taste's very original not oily and come with no frills. Must try the chips always come fresh, crispy n hot.
Approximate cost: $9
Really love this place. If you get over the bogans, rednecks and lack of seating, you'll realise there is a reason these guys are always busy.
The burgers are among the best "roadhouse"/truck-stop fare I've had. Now don't get me wrong, I love road-house burgers. Some of my happiest memories of working as a young graduate were truck-stop toasties and road-house burgers.
But I digress. Whether its a steak sandwich, the cram, or just the whole kitchen sink, they can shove it in some bread and serve it too you juicy and warm.
And not just burgers. Make sure you try the Pea and Ham soup. And the chips are excellent.
Awesome place to go and fulfill a late night Burger craving.
It is one of the most unique (but greatest) burger joints I have ever experianced in Perth, and have always had excellent customer service and food from there!
Approximate cost: $15
