I purchased a Gourmet Cooker and consider that this Australian company has produced a neat, space saving solid fuel combustion stove and space heater that has met my needs for a number of years now. Well insulated, the casing remains safe to the touch. Purchased through Ballarat's Wood 'N' Energy which delivered promptly I am satisfied that it does what the advertising said. It is easy to empty ash and easy to light. My model has a water jacket that has proved efficient, allowing me to use it even in summer.
The only problem I have had has been the deterioration of the insulating cord around the firebox window. This is possible to replace without need to buy a whole new door.
