To any one out there looking to insure their car with this mob, stop and read their PDS very carefully. This company tried everything to not cover me. I have had to repair my own car to the cost of $7000 after being with them for 2 yrs and paying them to cover me comprehensively. The worse thing is, they denied me cover on the basis of my infrigement notice that i assumedly did not disclose to them. If you know you have any infringements or even an old blemish in your driving hstiory - keep away from this insurer they requested a driving history extract from DMV and it was my demise, this is how they cheat to avoided paying out my claim. They are low cost, low risk insuarance (this you will never know as it is not public knowledge). whats even more disturbing is they booked my car in to the panel beaters for a quote only to deny me cover, who does this to their clients. I have never had an accident since i started driving and that did not count for anything in their abnoxious PDS. KEEP AWAY FROM THIS INSURER.

Would not recommend going through Ai Insurance. They are not trustworthy and have been absolute hell to put a claim through after I had a accident.

Worst insurer ever. Stay away. Been fighting for the last month to get a pay out for a write off. They're trying to give way under the market value of the car. They're evidence is dodgy with parts of redbook certificate being blanked out and comparing our very good condition car to one's that have done over 300000km. My advice is stay away. They're bad news.

AI insurance offered the most extra's and the best premium. Just a few of the things I found AI Insurance offered that other companies didn't offer at their basic price. Please take not of points 5 & 6 as these were the 2 main things that got me. :)

While a number (not all) of insurance companies offer free window repair at no extra cost. AI Insurance go another step & give you 1 free window repair or replacement per year.
60% No Claim Bonus to all customers who have not had an accident in the previous few years. (can't remember the exact number of years.)
Complimentary 24/7 road side assistance- (I don't think they are offering this free anymore I think its extra)
Excess is reduced by $150 every year you stay with AI Insurance
If you purchase one of their value add ons (which I did) It reduces your excess by 50%
Chipex cost $240 per year or $20 per month
You get $600 worth of minor repairs for small dents & scratches- twice a year ie $1200
No excess, very few questions.
