Beware of this company. Contract is designed to protect only Abacus management nothing for the client. We had a white wash applied to our floors. Something spilt on the wash before polyurethane was applied requiring a patch up job, a window was left open causing rain damage another patch, white wash applied unevenly, hair and insects trapped under layers of polyurethane, possibly polyurethane tipped down the kitchen sink marking the sink, some chemical tipped on the lawn leaving a dead patch. Patch spots on the floor are just that; a permanent, obvious scar in a prominent location. Extra expense with extended motel stay and furniture storage. We chose this company based on reviews. Very disappointed.
Now a week after moving back into our home and having furniture returned the very same floor boards where repair job was done are now starting to show splitting in them. That’s even after 3 coats of polyurethane!

Abacus were recommended to me by a friend, and I'm very glad we used them, quote was good, work was fantastic and although there was more than originally quoted (when we got the quote there was a floating floor on part of the boards, when we took it up we discovered it was in worse condition than expected so required more work) it wasn't a hassle to do the extra. fitted in really well with the times I was hoping for. Very pleased with the look of the floor.

After many negative experiences I had with different companies during my house renovation I was hoping that at least floor sanding will go smoothly. And how smooth it was!!! Floor inspection arranged in one day, booking for a day I wanted done without any fuss. The whole job was done quickly and professional in two days. What a refreshing change. Recommend them highly.

These people were recommended to us by a friend and what a great recommendation. They were able to work within the time frame and the quote for the work was great as well.
They ended up doing some additional work outside of sanding and staining our floors and we couldn't be happier. Would definitely recommend these people.

Very good customer services and honest to the customer, in terms of quality, service and value is recommended overall. Nice sale and boss. The quotation still valid after a year more later.
