Upon looking for a company to send my partner a beer hamper for his birthday, I stumbled across A Little Luxury. Not only did they have the exact hamper I wanted, but they were also local so I'd thought there was a good chance at same day delivery.
So I phoned them and was quoted $26 for same day delivery. While I thought this was quite expensive, I went ahead with the order because I was promised he would get it that day and I was keen to suprise my partner on his birthday. All day I waited for him to call to say he'd got it, but the phone call never came. I eventually had to call him at work after 5pm and spoil the suprise by admitting I'd sent something and asking if he'd got it because I hadn't heard from him.
The following morning he arrived at work, went to reception and there it was. Apparently it had arrived at 5.45pm. When I phoned A Little Luxury the following day to query what happened they explained that 5.45pm was considered "during working hours". Paying $26 for same day delivery to a local address and getting it after Business Hours is not acceptable. In addition to this, I'd asked for the chocolate to be swapped out and replaced with nuts. This did not happen. Extremely disappointed with this experience. Not good enough!

I have used A Little Luxury Gifts online at least 6 or 7 times. They are always reliable on delivery and they have a fantastic range to choose from. They are my "go to" for gifts/thank you's etc for friends and relatives. Highly recommend.

I live in the UK and wished to order a thank you gift for my brother who lives in Victoria. Having spent some time browsing for a suitable gift, on several websites, I found A Little Luxury. The goods were well illustrated, with a good description, which was ideal for me. I also found the ordering process easy to follow. I opted for delivery with Australia Mail. I was informed by A Little Luxury when the hamper had been despatched, and received a tracking e-mail from Australia Mail as to where the parcel was and when it had been delivered. I was able to let my brother know when to expect the gift. The hamper arrived within 4 days of ordering, in good condition. My brother was really pleased with it's appearance and the contents of 4 bottles of wine, chocolates and nibbles. A good experience all round.

This is the second time we have used A Little Luxury to surprise a family member, now living in Australia. What a great way to shop. Look through the catalogue, choose what you want to send, add a few goodies and the rest is history. Grandson happy, we are happy and all is done from the comfort of our home. We really liked the trace your parcel system. As our grandson had moved and he noticed I had sent the gift to an incorrect address. He was able to pick up his parcel at the post office. The gift was very much appreciated.

When you live on another continent, sending holiday gifts to family can be complicated! Not this year...a few days before Christmas, I discovered 'A Little Luxury' and decided to surprise my sister and her family with a chocolate basket. They delivered...literally! It arrived before Christmas which was amazing given the last minute order on a busy holiday. I was even able to customize the basket with substitutions! My sister was totally surprised and the kids loved it. I recommend this company highly and will be using them again in the future! Thank you so much A.L.L. :)

I'm in Scotland, ordered a hamper for Christmas delivery to my daughter at a backpackers hostel in Sydney. Hamper arrived safely and in good time, she was delighted with it.

Hassle free way for me to buy a gift in NZ for a family member in Australia. There was plenty of choice and price range. My gift was delivered promptly and arrive safely. I have no idea what the actual basket looked like but from the website photo it will be perfect.
