i'm not fussed about prices i guess they're pretty average, SUPER UNRELIABLE but at least there's quite a lot of trams going on in inner cbd

Crowded, often standing room only, running late ... and yet with all of that still such a great service and I'm still thankful we have the trams running in Melbourne. Living in Melbourne, I love the trams here! They are so convenient and efficient. They also come frequently, even at night! They are a great part of Melbourne's culture, another reason why I love them. Drivers are always helpful and courteous as well. Trams are so plentiful in Melbourne, and they aren't that expensive to use. You couldn't go through Swanston St or Elizabeth St or any other place in the CBD without seeing a tram. Love trams, love the service and the efficiency.

Wish we had trams in Sydney. The trams are very convenient, regular and on time. Also casn't complain about getting free rides to and from the Australian Open Tennis.

OK. So, a lot of people are down on public transport. But don't tar all the PT companies with the same brush. Trams are cheap, plentiful and (relatively) clean and safe. If you manage to avoid being sideswiped by a car when you disembark, that is.
