We recently had dinner at The Fat Dragon with a few close friends. We were told about this place by a friend who is quite a foody. This place apparently quite new(opened less than 12 months ago) The experience was second to none. Staff were very friendly and the selection was great! The dishes we ordered included San Choi Bao, Mongolian lamb, fish fillet with ginger and mixed vegetables. The kids had prawn crackers, wonton soup and fried rice. The dishes were not spicy at all(unless you want them to make it spicy) yet full of flavours and good size serves.

We were also fortunate enough to try their banana chicken(a fusion of chicken pieces and banana lightly fried with a crispy batter served with sweet and sour sauce). This isn't on the menu but you should ask about it. All in all, the kids were happy and we rolled out of there. It's located close to the intersection of Beaufort St and Walcott St, and parking was pretty easy to find.

This place is definitely up there on our list of locals to frequent in Mt Lawley.
