the hotel is gorgeous, the artwork in the room was great but nothing else was.
No idea how to work the coffee machine, they sent two men up who also couldn't figure it out ( you would think staff could tell you how to use it)
the beds are hard as a rock whilst the pillows are huge, too uncomfortable to sleep on my head felt like it was 6 foot in the air. Limited parking, unless you want to pay. I wouldn't recommend for the price id prefer to go elsewhere. Must say the location is close to everything

Stunning. This boutique hotel is one of a kind.
Situated in trendy South Yarra, on the St Kilda Rd with a beautiful Albert Park backdrop, this hotel is luxurious and stylish in a strikingly contemporary manner.
Inspired by Charles Blackman, the atrium is filled with framed Blackman works.
The interiors are also Blackman inspired, with contemporary pieces of furniture, wall fixtures, art work etc.
You check in and never want to leave.

Stayed on the top floor with a balcony overlooking Albert Park during the Formula One. Could see the whole track from my bed. Great location. Staff were very friendly and helpful and looked after us extremely well. Two great restaurants (French and Italian) rounded off a fantastic stay and would recommend to anyone wanting a great view and a little luxury. The hotel has an Artist theme, with paintings and artwork celebrating Aussie artist Charles Blackman's career work.
