Great food, friendly service, great atmosphere and great entertainment. there is a lovely back balcony to enjoy a quiet chat and a cold drink on a nice day. You even get a nice sunset

Fantastic food, great prices and lovely staff. They were great to our kids as well! Our meals took a little while to come out because it was very busy, but we'll worth the wait. The décor was really lovely and cosy.

Been here a couple of times now,and enjoyed it.Very pleasurable ,the atmosphere is alive on Friday nights and Sunday afternoons with a band from about 4.00 onwards.You can sit outside and have meals or eat inside,can become very loud at times.Meals are lovely,service is fast .Staff are nice and friendly.Its worth making a booking.

food is nice, the decor is lovely and rustic. It has become a bit of a local watering hole which is probably what they want, but not terribly great if you don't want to feel like you are eating in a bar. Was there with quite a few drunk people

This is good old fashioned English pub grub. Take your finicky parents there and they will definitely find something they like (well, my in-laws did!). They've got steak & kidney pudding and liver & bacon (I haven't had that in a long time) on the menu and it's like a bit of culinary time travelling. Well worth the visit and the prices are good, too.

Sadly, we did not get the awesome service the other reviewers got, in fact, we were completely forgotten. The wait staff ignored us and left us to sit. We were told they would be over to take our drink order, but they were at the bar chatting & serving everyone else. The atmosphere was noisy just like being in a noisy pub.

This place came highly recommended & we ended up leaving as we only had a sitter for two hours.
Never again!

The food was exceptional, I had the pork belly which includes a cucumber salad and ginger. I do not like cucumber or ginger but this dish brought the flavours all together and I enjoyed every last bit. The Eye fillet was cooked perfectly.

This is a small English style bar/pub and has a supurb atmosphere with open fire and friendly service, the meals are fantastic (we had a group of 15 and everyone loved their meals) fairly reasonable in price
