Tried once but not really to my cup of tea.
Perhaps the authentic Shanghainese would appreciate them better.
Worth giving it a try for something different.

Smaller restaurant located in the Market Square complex amongst many other Asian restaurants. This one specialises in Shanghai cuisine. Cheap prices, fast service, cosy atmosphere, great food. Not the typical dishes you see at Chinese restaurants, so you wont' be finding any sweet and sour pork or beef in black been sauce here.

Almost close to authentic Shanghainese cuisine. Definitely try the fried rice cakes which are a specialty!

This is a great little place to enjoy the BEST shanghai cuisine in Brisbane.
Most of the noodles dishes fairs well above average Chinese restaurants and all within great value price range. The most memorable dish for me was their shanghai snacks such as Small Steamed Meat Buns and Lightly Fried Meat Buns.
The signature dish though would have to be Stir Fried Rice Cake - Shanghai style!
